1. RG STONE UROLOGY & LAPAROSCOPY HOSPITAL, GOA
SBIHM, recognizes the significance of industrial visits and organizes regular industrial tours to renowned healthcare facilities. This time it was RG Stone Urology & Laparoscopy Hospital in Goa. The 1st-year Hospital Management students have arrived at RG Hospital – Goa for an industrial tour. This visit aims to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to the hospital’s operations, management, and facilities. This Hospital visit was planned with an expectation that out students will gain valuable insights into the healthcare industry, interacting with professionals and observing best practices. After the industrial visit to RG Hospital, we were overjoyed to realise that it was a huge success, as our students spontaneously expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to explore the healthcare industry first hand. Such visits not only enhance students’ knowledge and skills but also inspire them to become competent healthcare professionals, equipped to make a positive impact in the industry.
2. DISHA EYE HOSPITAL, KOLKATA
As part of experiential learning, the Hospital Management students of SBIHM undertook an educational visit to Disha Eye Hospital. The visit aimed to familiarize students with hospital infrastructure, administrative departments, patient flow management, quality control systems, and healthcare service delivery. The students gained first-hand exposure to real-world hospital management practices, enhancing their understanding of healthcare operations and professional standards.
3. PEERLESS HOSPITAL, KOLKATA
As part of experiential learning, the Hospital Management students of SBIHM undertook an educational visit to Peerless Hospital. The visit aimed to familiarize students with hospital infrastructure, administrative departments, patient flow management, quality control systems, and healthcare service delivery. The students gained first-hand exposure to real-world hospital management practices, enhancing their understanding of healthcare operations and professional standards.
4. BHAGIRATHI NEOTIA HOSPITAL, KOLKATA
As part of experiential learning, the Hospital Management students of SBIHM undertook an educational visit to Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital. The visit aimed to familiarize students with various administrative departments – outdoor patient section, billing section. Along with this they were also guided about the patient flow management, quality control systems, and healthcare service delivery. The students gained first-hand exposure to real-world hospital management practices, enhancing their understanding of healthcare operations and professional standards.
5. ILS, Dumdum, KOLKATA
As part of experiential learning, the Hospital Management students of SBIHM undertook an educational visit to ILS Dumdum, Hospital. The visit aimed to familiarize students with hospital infrastructure, administrative departments, patient flow management, quality control systems, and healthcare service delivery. The students gained first-hand exposure to real-world hospital management practices, enhancing their understanding of healthcare operations and professional standards.
6. Le Méridien, Calangute, GOA
Hotel Management students of SBIHM visited a luxury property – Le Meridien, Calangute, Goa during their Goa excursion. The property is owned by Marriott International and is now listed among other major Marriott brands like Sheraton, Westin, and The Ritz-Carlton. Students were guided about the check-in/check-out procedures, guest relations, reservations systems. They were taken to different categories of rooms & guided about the room preparation standards, quality checks, housekeeping inventory flow. The take away for our students were the importance of professional communication & high standard of guest relations.
7. J W Marriott, Goa
Hotel Management students of SBIHM visited a luxury property – J W Marriott, Vagator, Goa during their Goa excursion. Students were guided about the check-in/check-out procedures, guest relations, reservations systems. They were taken to different categories of rooms & guided about the room preparation standards, quality checks, housekeeping inventory flow. The take away for our students were the importance of professional communication & high standard of guest relations.
8. Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa
Hotel Management students of SBIHM visited a luxury property – Hilton Genome Valley Resort & Spa, Hyderabad during their Hyderabad excursion. Upon arrival students were taken to a conference room & an extensive session was taken by hotel representative. He explained in detailed about the day to day operation that takes place in a hotel. After that the students were divided in small groups & were taken to different departments to understand their operations. They got to see how the daily linens are cleaned & ironed. They were taken to different categories of rooms & guided about the room preparation standards, quality checks, housekeeping inventory flow. The guided tour ended with a sumptuous Hyderabadi biriyani offered by the hotel. The take away for our students were the importance of professional communication & high standard of guest relations.
9. Green Park, Hyderabad
Hotel Management students of SBIHM visited Green Park Hotel, Hyderabad during their Hyderabad excursion. Students were divided into small groups & a detailed hotel tour was given by hotel representatives. They explained about the day to day operation that takes place in a hotel. The take away for our students were the importance of professional communication & high standard of guest relations.
